SHORTLIST PROMPT Review the shortlist you just gave me against my original requirements. Look specifically for: 1 - Options excluded because information was missing, rather than because they failed a requirement 2 - Preferences you treated as non-negotiable requirements 3 - Criteria you introduced that I never asked for 4 - Options assessed using less evidence than the ones you recommended 5 - Rankings that depend on an estimate or an unverified claim 6 - Strong alternatives just outside the final shortlist 7 - Relevant sources you couldn’t access or didn’t check For each finding, classify it: VALID EXCLUSION - Evidence shows it fails a requirement I set. MISSING EVIDENCE - We don’t know enough to rule it out. MY DECISION - You made a trade-off I should choose. RECONSIDER - It deserves another look. Show me the strongest excluded alternatives, why they were excluded, and what would need to be checked before including them. Use the available research and records. Don’t invent a search history or reasons you didn’t record. If you need to reassess an option now, say so. Don’t contact anyone or buy anything.
